2015 Year End Recap
It’s that time again, another year over and a new one right around the corner.
This has been another banner year for ROOST Real Estate Co. I cannot thank our agents and staff enough for their hard work and dedication to helping our buyers, sellers, investors, and tenants realize their real estate goals and dreams.
I also want to thank our loyal clients and business partners for their continued support, help and encouragement. We would not be here without you.
Our second year in business as ROOST Real Estate Co. has been marked by rapid growth in terms of both sales volume and market share. Our licensed agent count in Springfield has increased from seven at the end of 2014 to twelve as I sit here today. In addition, Debra White, a highly respected veteran broker in the Dayton market joined the ROOST Real Estate Co. family earlier this year with 16 licensed agents in her office in Beavercreek.
We also completed our first transactions in Florida this year and hope to build a presence for ROOST Real Estate Co. on the Space Coast of Brevard County over the next several years.
Our increased sales volume allowed us to invest heavily in the business this year. We expanded our online marketing efforts by fine tuning our social media initiatives, made significant upgrades to our website, and created a video called All About ROOST which you can view at www.AllAboutROOST.com.
We continued our investment in our agents and staff this year through our association with Buffini and Company, our training and development partners. Operationally, our agents are now able to create and negotiate purchase contracts electronically via DotLoop, an online document management service and we upgraded our downtown Springfield offices with new furniture, printers, and phone system.
In our Property Management division we expanded our relationship with our software and accounting partners AppFolio, by engaging them to provide a 24 hour live answering service to our tenants for basic and emergency maintenance requests. As this new capability comes fully online over the next few weeks it will dramatically improve the service we are able to offer the over 700 tenants we currently serve.
We are successfully competing head to head and gaining ground on the best of the national real estate franchises and established locally owned players. We are working on many new and exciting initiatives to better serve our agents and clients in 2016. I am very excited about the future.
